This is the pic of the front of the cluster. Yes, the ports will be on the front. As you can tell, the motherboards and the dc to dc converters (boards to the left) are on anti-static foam except the top motherboard, which I put the nylon spacers under just to see how it looks. Also, the threaded rods need to be cut at the top and the laptop cdroms will be mounted under the top plate.

This is the right side of the cluster. The bottom motherboard has a firewire card because I will be using it for networking the two nodes, thanks to the eth1394 driver. I also put in a flat ide cable just to see how it fit on the hard drives which are mounted on the bottom of the second plate.

This is the back of the cluster. It will have a 40 mm fan mounted on plexiglas that will completely cover the outside of the cluster.

This is the left side of the cluster. Nothing really much to mention beside the dc to dc converters which are the boards you are seeing before the motherboards.

Here is a pic showing the space where the upper node will be housed. Look at all that rust (from my fingerprints), I'm going to have to sand it down again and coat the plates with a high gloss polyurethane.

And here is just a pic of a motherboard and a dc to dc converter. Pretty cool, ehh? :-)
